Lab Created Diamonds are grown using two different techniques: High-Pressure High-Temperature (or HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (or CVD). Both methods result is a pure carbon Lab Created Diamond. The diamond is chemically and optically identical to a mined Diamond.
The difference is in the source.
Mined diamonds are taken from the earth and take millions of years to make.
Lab grown diamonds are made above ground and created in a matter of months.
